Our Values

Youth – that we work to involve people of ages in all of the ministry of Zion and to build a community that seeks to raise caring and responsible children and adolescents.
Community Involvement – we encourage the members of Zion to live out their faith in the community they reside in so that these commmunities advocate the values of the Christian faith.

Funerals

Barnabas Ministry

The Barnabas Ministry, provides a listening ear and friendship to those facing loneliness, health problems and other difficulties related to aging. Volunteers who complete training and commit to visiting one “special person” per month, typically a shut-in, can become commissioned Barnabas ministers.

Sewing Circle

In conjunction with Lutheran World Relief, this is a group of women who gather twice a month to design, create and assemble quilts made mostly from donated fabric from the congregation. The quilts are distributed worldwide to those in greatest need.

Sunday School

Zion Lutheran Church is proud to offer Sunday School for the younger generations. Children will be excited to attend this program! Our goal is to raise caring and responsible children and adolescents.

Pioneer Club

To belong to this unique group of gray/silver hairs you have to be over the young age of 55. We enjoy great food, fellowship and informative and/or entertaining programs. We meet on the 2nd Monday at noon of every month, up in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Come join us if you can. We always have extra chairs!

Funerals

Zion Lutheran Church would be proud to host the funeral for a deceased loved one. We have a large in-church banquet room available that is capable of hosting many of your attendees for a catered lunch. Please contact the church for more details.
